Pee Wee Picasso     Ages: 3 - 6
Students learn an appreciation for master artists like Picasso and Monet, as well as experience hands on learning with media like watercolor, oil pastels and modeling clay. A well rounded class that offers kids a chance to do many different kinds of art.

Adventures in Art      Ages 7-12
Drawing, pottery, painting, sculpture to many other funs things - do a little of it all in this fun camp. A well rounded class that offers kids a chance to do many different kinds of art.

Sewing Fun      Ages: 7-12*
Draw String Pants, learn how to design and sew drawstring pants from a pattern, you can make them Capri’s or long PJ’s, for casual or sleep wear. you decide. Student will need a sewing machine. The last day we will Tie- Dye them with funky patterns. Fabric, elastic and dye will be provided.

Sew it All, learn how to do T-shirt embellishments: painting sewing and other ideas. The next day make a T-shirt tote, day three sew a pocket purse, then finish out the week by making a pillow from your favorite T-shirt.

This is an unbelievably fun class, make sure you child wears old clothing for this one as they will become messy with goopy, gushy, goey, slippery and sloppy with art explorations.

Science Fun     Ages: 7-12
Explore how science works doing fun experiments. Teacher Vicki Burgholzer who teaches at the gifted school in Aurora will be leading this class for us

Painting w/ Flair           June 27 - 30
Paint a chair, paint a glass jar or maybe a stick! We'll do lots of fun painting projects, focusing on design and executing our designs.

Puppets            Ages: 3 - 6
Foil puppets, shadow puppets, finger puppets, with a puppet theater are just a few ideas we will make. Kids will have loads of fun with their puppets way after the class is finished.

focus on learning basic stage skills, terms and etiquette for the actor.  We will learn how body, face and voice are used to create characters and tell stories. Participants will receive one on one coaching as well as learn to work in a collaborative and cooperative environment.

Wizarding world got you in a whorl? If you love all things Harry Potter you’ll have a blast in this camp. We’ll make potions, wizard cups, wands, and play games. On Friday we’ll visit the theater together to watch the last installment of the series!

class will build on the concepts and skills learned in Basic Acting for Beginners.  This session will emphasize character development and scene work.  It is not required to take Basic Acting for Beginners, but theatre experience is necessary.  The first class will be a partial review and the remainder will be working on scenes with a partner.
