One/Two Day Workshops
Mosaics
You can turn anything into an art piece, old flower pot, discarded board, or just about anything you have found. We will take glass, old china pieces, broken ceramic and create fun patterns and designs on our objects. We let it dry and then return (or do it on your own) to grout the piece and wha-la! gorgeous art.
Friday, June 3 5:30-8 & Sunday, June 5, 1-2pm, ages: 8 and up
cost: $25 includes mosaic pieces and grout, you bring the object to work on.

Sewing Machine Drivers License Class, June 10, 10 – 11:30, cost: $5
Learn how to use a sewing machine so you can sew things at home or in other sewing classes.  Proper threading, seam accuracy, and safety will be stressed.  A license will be presented to students who successfully complete the course.  Bring your machines, if possible. Calligraphy & More
We will learn different ways to compose creative lettering for many projects. Use for signs, scrap booking, art work, and other creative processes. We will provide paper, pens, markers, pencils and ideas.

Jewelry w/ A Friend
Grab your girl friend, daughter or mom and make necklaces or lariats, or bracelets and earrings that match each others’ - true friendship necklaces! Or do something on your own. Many beads to choose from, some may cost extra. We will have goodies to share for added fun.
July 8, 6-9pm, $35, ages 12 and up

Hair flair
Students can choose form three flowers: mum, daisy, or pansy.  Fabric scraps and old clothing will be used along with buttons and found beads.  Make the flower into a pin, bracelet, or attach to your headband.  Use fabrics and notions provided or bring your favorites to use. Zippity-Do Pin
Add a stylish flower accessory to your wardrobe or make for a gift.  Learn how to recycle old zippers to make a pin, use as a headband or barrette.   Please bring zippers – look at old clothing to find one, buttons you like, and a glue gun with sticks. Ages 8 and up, Instructor: Marilyn Hrymak

Fabric Graffiti
Design a graffiti print on fabric with your favorite colors.   Many tools, stencils, and techniques will be used.  Let yourself go, and show your style!  In the second class we will cure the print, and sew the fabric into a stylish pillow.  Ages 8 and up
