Drawing Fundamentals
Artists can study the basics of drawing as a preparation for painting, sculpture, and as a medium in its own right.  Intermediate level artists can expand and practice their skills in the fundamentals of drawing.

Funky and FabulousFunky and Fabulous Painting
We will learn how to use acrylic paints to paint on many different surfaces creating some funky finds. We’ll use chairs, brooms, trays, and other objects you can add new and fun twists to them. Taught by Susan Edwards

Class Fee: $50, painting supplies included you will bring some things to paint.

Watercolor Painting with Graydon Cafarella
He teaches in the follow me format that will help you learn various brush techniques, washes and spattering, wet into wet and many other techniques. Class Fee: $75

Creative Lettering
Learn techniques to make your lettering more creative to use in scrpebooking, crafts, and home décor. We’ll use color pens, paint, transfers and many other ways. Instructor Susan Edwards

Pottery Classes
Classes will focus on throwing functional pottery on the wheel. In addition, we will learn how to finish and accent our thrown pots with a variety of glazes. We’ll have a lot of fun, develop our creativity, and come away with a good foundation in pottery.

Class Fee: $90 for each 6 wk session - includes clay, firing, glazing with glaze fire. All pottery students are encouraged to come in and do extra practice at a time convenient for them; there is no extra charge for this.

Hand Building Pottery Classes
Class Fee:
$90 ages 9 and up experiment with different varieties of designs to create beautiful works of art. We will be introduced to different handbuilding techniques such as pinching, slab construction, tile making, and coil building. We will also learn how to decorate our pieces with various glazes. This is a simple beginner’s class into hand building with clay. Tonya Hardy

Jewelry Ages 10 and up

Girl Friend Fun – grab your girl friend and make necklaces or lariats, bracelets and earrings that match, or do something on your own. We will have goodies for added fun. Cost$40, Friday Feb 3, 6:30 – 9, teens & up
Wire Wrapping – take a precious stone and learn how to wrap it with wire to make pendant jewelry.

Collage’ as Art
Learn how to take paper, collage medium and turn it into a handsome fine art. This is an exploration that’s fun and rewarding for any age and ability levels. No experience required. Instructor: Fae Lynch

Sewing Classes
Ages 8 and up see specific class, fun for Mom too!
Design your own hand bag: You will focus on how to create an aesthetic designed bag with texture, pattern, size, shape, and style, but also functional. All supplies are included, though feel free to bring in a specific fabric you’d like included.
Jan 16, 9-2pm bring a lunch Cost: $25, ages 9 and up

Design your own Stuff Animal
– learn how to sew a simple stuffed animal from frogs to bears by hand, easy to learn but also great for an advanced sewer.
Jan 28, 1 – 5 pm Cost: $25, includes all materials. Ages 9 and up

Fabric Graffiti
- Design a graffiti print on fabric with your favorite colors by using paint, stencils and other things to create fun fabric. Many tools, stencils, and techniques will be used.  In the second class we will cure the print, and sew the fabric into one completed stylish pillow. You will have fabric to make many more projects. Let yourself go, and show your style!  
Feb 15 & 16, 6 – 8pm, cost: $22, ages 8 & up

Owl Pillows
: make an owl shaped pillow using your sewing machine. We will add embellishments for a great room decoration.
Cost: $15 includes a copy of pattern and materials

Easter Bunny – learn how to sew a simple stuffed bunny, you can use a sewing machine or do it by hand. Ages 10 and up. Cost: $15, includes pattern and all materials.

Crystal Eggs – learn to place beads around plastic eggs to create a striking beaded egg. Ages 9 and up, Cost: $12, Mar 15, 5– 7pm

Yo Yo’s – using a simple circle, learn how to sew an actual yo yo that yo yos! Hand sewing ages 9 and up, Cost: $10, Mar 29, 5 – 7pm
